Negativity (62,005) by Marquise from USA I used to love coming to this board seeing all the love being spread around talking about how much we love Mariah and stuff like that but now all I mainly see is a bunch of negativity. It's either someone is bashing her attire, her weight, the ways she talks in interviews or her personality, or what she is drinking or who she is dancing with or Stella and her daughter being in the pics and then more about her attire sounding just like the rest of the goats. I'm sure if Mariah saw this board she wouldn't call half of these people lambs or feel loved on here. This is why I rarely visit anymore because the negativity kills my vibe. Even when Miami came out everyone was negative, they were negative when Infinity came out. When her new single come out the artwork will be criticized and the song will be ripped because it doesn't sound like Breakdown or something from the Butterfly album and then criticise the album also like they many did on MIAM yet it got really positive reviews from the media. Just a bunch of nitpicking. It's okay to be critical but when the board is like 80% negativity toward Mariah it's a bad look. Just let the good out weigh the bad. (Wednesday 11 May 2016; 8:05)

The key to success (59,893) by Marquise from USA I know some goats say Mariah can't get a hit and blah blah anymore but if you look back at her recent lead singles, Obsessed peaked at #7. It could've reached #1 probably, but I believe she only performed the song twice (Lopez Tonight and Americans Got Talent) which was the downfall of that song lack of promo for it. Next was the lovely #Beautiful which was a refreshing sound for her more people wanted her to keep going in that direction musically and what not, but anyways the song was doing well they signed a clear water deal to have it played at the top of the hour all day on the top 40 radio stations. That helped it get to the young audience and people started buying the single and it got rave reviews. I remember reading an article from Billboard about #Beautiful possibly debuting at #1 from the high percentage of downloads and airplay it was getting but all of it didn't count altogether because of the cut of day so half of it went towards another week which messed the charting up, but Mariah had a hit on her hand and I believe the reason it didn't go #1 or get into the top 5 was because of the string of "bad" performances of the song plagued by constant lip syncing allegations which created a dark cloud over the promo and killed the song off. So for her next single she has to bring her A game like she did when she performed "Infinity/VOL" and promote the song heavily with interviews and live performances and a big radio deal and great music video like TMB, WBT, It's lLke That etc. (Saturday 20 February 2016; 23:44)

Unreleased songs from MIAM / my ramblings (59,873) by Marquise from USA I've been wondering why no unreleased songs scrapped from the Me I Am Mariah album has surfaced yet. It seemed like an inevitable thing for a few unreleased songs from each of her albums to magically pop up, but nothing hasn't showed up. I don't know if Mariah has been working on a new album or is finished with one, but I hope she releases an mid/up-tempo song to get the buzz going a song like Obsessed, I'll Be Loving You Long Time, Thirsty, Migrate, It's Like That etc. with a good radio deal like they did for #Beautiful plus the TV promo. Then follow it up with a big catchy ballad that she can slay live, seeing that a lot of ballads are in the top 20 right now. Anyways I think they did a great job promoting Infinity and the Vegas show. Imagine the push her new single and album will get. I expect her to release a new album around August or September or early 2017 once her tour and Vegas residency is over so she can focus solely on promoting her new album. What do you lambs think? Me IAm Mariah (43,889) by Marquise from USA The only people that wont like Me I Am Mariah are people who don't know real good music. Lambs can't complain she gave us everything we asked for, gospel, dance pop, RnB, ballads. I'm so glad she is getting great reviews from everyone else. Mariah did a hell of a job. Thirsty (43,566) by Marquise from USA This is what I've been waiting for. Mariah is delivering a sizziling summer banger baby. The radio is going this up. After I heard this song I knew it would get mixed emotions from some lambs, because there will always be some that want the 90's Mariah, Well it's 2014 okay not the 90's. Mariah has released 3 ballads (AH, YM, TAOLG) , and 2 mid tempo songs (Triumphant, and Beautiful), and now an up tempo song, So I don't know why people still are complaining she has released every type of song so far unless you want country and rock lol. Anyways some lambs may not like it but the general public will eat this song up. It's so catchy and current, the radio will play this song all summer like they did with Obsessed. Cant wait to see Mariah have the WMA turn up from Thirsty. Good job Mariah, ignore the haters, this song will take over, mark my words. You're Mine (Eternal) and Mariah's sexy side (43,070) by Marquise from USA I find it funny when people say You're Mine (Eternal) flopped because it was a poor song, no it flopped because it didn't get no promo besides one TV performance. So how do you expect it to soar up the charts if people don't know about the song? Even without any promo it did decent on other charts, and went #1 on the Dance Club chart so it wasn't a complete flop. But just imagine if she did promote this song, if it did decent without promo, maybe with promo it would crack the top 20. Have you noticed when Mariah promotes her single it does fairly well? Idk if You're Mine was supposed to be a buzz track or what because it's weird to release a song but not support it. So maybe this next single is the real official single. Also I think Mariah looks very sexy in her Wonderland cover. If you still got it then you better work it honey aint nothing wrong with being sexy. The natural era / my rambling lol (42,911) by Marquise from USA Lately Mariah has been giving us this natural look for this era. From #Beautiful video and performances, to The Art of Letting Go cover art, to Your're Mine video and The Billboard Magazine Cover. I'm really loving this natural look on her. I think the the album cover will be simple sweet and natural. Maybe the album cover is right in our face (Billboard magazine cover). Anyways I just love it all. Glad to see the remix go #1. I also think the album will be released digitally on iTunes on her anniversary, which is next Wednesday, have a whole iTunes take over, then May 6 the psychical copies will come out along with a new single she will use to promote the album (hopefully we get a big promo from her and her team like TEOM or E=MC2). Anyways I got a good feeling this album will be a stone winner. I want to see Mariah back on top and winning. (Saturday 26 April 2014; 1:36)

Single choices (42,903) by Marquise from USA I don't know if people understand that the record label chooses the singles, not just the artist, they usually do a vote for each song an which ever song gets the most votes by the record executives becomes the single. Mariah has stated in interviews that the label chooses the singles, she said there were songs she wanted to be a single but did not. (Friday 25 April 2014; 23:15)

Next single (42,781) by Marquise from USA I think Mariah's next single well be a uptempo song just in time for the summer. She got all the ballads out of the way I would be surprised if she went with another ballad especially during the spring/summer. She needs to release a song with the tempo of Obsessed or the catchy-ness/fun of Touch My Body. Something fun sweet and lively. Maybe even a party track like "It's like that". Mariah does real well during the summer so if history is anything it will hopefully repeat itself and introduce the world to a great uptempo Mariah Carey summer song. I guess its #MCSummer14. Mariah won't stop (42,715) by Marquise from USA Mariah Carey has said numerous times that she won't stop making music because it's her passion. It's like a part of her, it helps her get away and get through pain any many other things. I can't see Mariah not making more music, she was born into music. It's been with her all her life, it's something very close to her, especially songwriting. PS. I'm excited about the rumors of her performing at the Billboard Awards, American Idol next month. Acapella / single (42,284) by Marquise from USA Hey lambs, check out this great acapella version of "You're Mine", it is flawsome. PS. Glad to see You're Mine climbing up the charts slowly without any promo. Either Mariah will eventually promote the song when May gets closer or release a new single to promote the album with. I hope she sticks with You're Mine and promote it, I really love this song, it is so beautiful and catchy. It would be a shame to see yet another song of hers not reach its full potential like #Beautiful. Lets hope for the best and make sure we support Mariah so she can snatch some wigs dahlings. Stop bashing Mariah and support her (41,273) by Marquise from USA It saddens me to see so many lambs just bash Mariah. It's like you guys are turning against her. You assume she is some crazy drunk, yet she never spoke to you guys and told you all of this herself. She can't please everyone. You guys bash every single and then calls her a drunk etc after every interview. If I was Mariah and I saw some of these post it would be hard for me to think you're a lamb. There is a way to critique her in a constructive way, but calling her an alcoholic and saying she has a mental illness is just wrong, and not helpful at all. All this does is create a negative dark vibe on this messageboard when we should be helping You're Mine do well, not pick at Mariahs so called "flaws" all day. Fed up with Lambs bashing Mariah 24/7 (41,269) by Marquise from USA I love the song and the video, good job Mimi. I will always support you. The song is very cute and catchy with lovely vocals, especially those notes at the end. Congrats to her on getting +100,000 downloads in one day. Also I know everyone is entitled to there own opinion aka freedom of speech, but if you're a real fan, you would criticize Mimi in a negative way. Why try to bring negativity to the song if you're a fan. Seems like every thing she does doesn't please you guys. Triumphant fans complained they didn't like the rappers and Mariah being like a featured artist with a dated beat, then with Beautiful fans complained that she wasn't on the song enough and that the song was boring lacking strong vocals (but yet it went platinum and peaked at #15), now some "fans" are saying that You're Mine (Eternal) is a WBT/TMB rip off with bad lyrics and mediocre vocals. She's staying true to who she is but doesn't please some "fans". I guess people want her to make dance music like Lady Gaga or Kesha etc. Just be happy and support her and keep the negativity to yourself. We need to support her like we have done for decades through good and bad, not drag her everytime. People act like they live with her and had been told by Mariah that she is an alchoholic. Just stop it. So after that being said and download both versions, watch the video, gift the song, share it to the world and last but not least request it to your local radio stations. Go Mariah.
