Caution / re-branding (87,408) by Darryle from USA Does anyone think the entire Caution era is being used to re-brand Mariah, and that a big single or another album will follow closely after? It seems unlikely that she'll release new music soon after Caution considering the long wait for her last two albums, but she's also in a much better place now. (Friday 4 January 2019; 04:33)

Glitter revival (85,942) by Darryle from USA I haven't posted on here in years, but I'm back, and I'd like to say I'm beyond surprised at Glitter's revival on the charts. It was really ahead of its time, and gets such a bad rap because the movie was less than stellar. However, the album is Mariah's most adventurous, and I'm glad it's getting the justice it deserves. Re: Mariah's makeup in that bathtub is tranny (66,058) (66,065) by Darryle from USA I know some fans aren't happy with Mariah's makeup as of late but, could we please watch our words? Tranny is a slur most commonly used against those apart of the transgender community. There are other ways you can describe Mariah's makeup and how it makes her look without using triggering slurs. Too critical (64,330) by Darryle from USA It's almost as if lambs are looking for things to be upset about. First we're upset that she doesn't discuss current events/tragedies and now we're upset she's posted about them too late? It's a nice feeling to see Mariah acknowledge events that effect her fans but quite frankly she's not obligated to do so. And to say that Mariah only speaks up when it involves white people is beyond (all caps) ludicrous. Mariah dedicated One Sweet Day to the victims of Orlando and acknowledged it in an interview. Mariah has also tweeted about about the Charleston shooting in the past I believe. Lambs need to stop analyzing every single thing Mariah does, says, or wears, it's becoming excessive. Orlando (63,399) by Darryle from USA It's so sad that things like Orlando are still happening in 2016 but, let's not attack Mariah for not tweeting about it. I understand that Mariah's fan base is predominately gay and she just recently won a GLAAD Award but, she's not obligated to tweet about Orlando because of those things. Mariah's part black, has a NAACP Award, and has a large black following but no one was up in arms when she didn't tweet about every instance of police brutality last year. If she did acknowledge Orlando it still wouldn't change any of the events that occurred. And for the record Mariah acknowledged Orlando during an interview on MorningZoo985. Macau (57,548) by Darryle from USA Wow. I am beyond impressed with Mariah's performance in Macau. I expected this to be one of those performances where she just kinda half asses it to get it over with. Boy was I wrong. Mariah sounded amazing. Her voice was lighter, clearer, and there was no sign of strain whatsoever. I hope she's recording with this voice. (Thursday 29 October 2015; 3:05)

New Vevo videos (56,648) by Darryle from USA Can't Take That Away (Mariah's Theme) and some tracks from the Merry Christmas album were added to Mariah's Vevo channel today. I take it the Merry Christmas songs mean Mariah's gearing up to re-release the album soon. (Tuesday 15 September 2015; 3:50)

Game Of War (56,647) by Darryle from USA I love the Game of War commercial. It was really cute. I was worried Mariah might try to play the sexy card but, she didn't. She made fun of herself. Her running was hilarious, the way Hero was incorporated into the commercial was genius, and she looked great. I hope there are more to come. (Tuesday 15 September 2015; 3:47)

Infinity remix (55,822) by Darryle from USA The remix is okay. It's not terrible but it could be better. The beat is hot and Mariah's resung vocals sound really good. I just don't understand why Mariah insist of playing chorus girl own her own song. She should have taken out French Montana and T.I. and left her raps in. This remix had a lot of potential but it was spoiled by the uneccesary rappers. (Saturday 8 August 2015; 17:42)

Songwriting (55,559) by Darryle from USA I think Mariah's songwriting is just as good if not better than it was in the past. Her writing has gotten more mature over the years and she's been able to make her writing more witty while still maintaining what made her such a great writer in the first place. People say her songwriting has gotten worse because they're looking for her to recreate songs like Petals, Outside, and Looking In. But, that's not going to happen. Robbed (54,941) by Darryle from USA Does anyone remember the background video that played when Mariah performed YM(E) at the BET Honors? I was watching it today and it made me think of Mariah's Los Angeles Times interview where she said she was robbed and that an artist had stolen her music, titles, and visuals. First time hearing Mariah (54,560) by Darryle from USA The first time I heard Mariah was during TEOM era. I was 5 years old and I was at my grandma's house watching tv and the We Belong Together video played. I remember my mom walking in and saying I couldn't watch it because the shower scene was raunchy for someone of my age. Of course like most kids when someone tells you can't do something you want to do it even more. So I went home and watched the video behind her back. There's a video on National Enquirer's website with him talking about having an alcohol problem and being bipolar. I hope there's no truth to what Morgan is saying. Music video (54,039) by Darryle from USA It's finally here. Now I kinda wish it wasn't. We waited weeks for the video and the best scenes were in the sneak peeks. Mariah looks good in the video but the video is kinda boring. I liked the Vegas shots but the other scenes felt very out of place and didn't flow well. I hope there's a director's cut somewhere because those usually tend to be better. (Tuesday 2 June 2015; 11:48)

Britney duet (53,991) by Darryle from USA I love Mariah and Britney. They're probably my favorite female artist so I'd love to see them duet. Britney has been saying she wants to work with Mariah for 15 years. It'd be interesting to see what they would come up with knowing how different their sounds are. Damizza's book (53,933) by Darryle from USA Wow. Damizza's book is very insightful. There's so much as fans that we don't get to see or learn about. I suggest you guys read Mariah's chapter. Damizza gives information of Mariah's breakdown, Eminem, Tommy, Glitter etc. He does it in a classy way without bashing Mariah or trying to paint her in a bad light. (Sunday 31 May 2015; 5:27)

JD (53,886) by Darryle from USA I don't think that was a good move on JD's part. He's basically throwing her under the bus. If he thinks that she doesn't take her career seriously then tell her that in private. You're one of the people Mariah is closely associated with, saying things like that looks bad. Why is he bringing this up now anyway? It's clear Mariah is taking her career seriously and is trying as hard as she can to improve her image. (Saturday 30 May 2015; 4:49)

Quit acting like this is some sort of revelation. If she pretended she loved everything about the videos you guys would point out all the things you disliked and call her fake. Top 3 (53,652) by Darryle from USA 1. We Belong Together: This was the first Mariah song I ever heard. I have so many memories attached to it. I've been listening to the song since I was 5 and I never tire of it. 2. Heartbreaker: Everything about this song is perfect. I love the layering and phrasing. The video is super fun and cute. Who doesn't love animated Mariah? 3.Vision of Love. Classic. This is probably the most defining song of Mariah's career. It doesn't get better than this. It's got low notes, high notes, belts, and growls. Everything from the intro to the anticipation that builds waiting for her to belt that last note makes it absolutely amazing.
