Mariah thanks Brazilian fans in Portuguese
Mariah Carey thanked her Brazilian fans in Portuguese at the dawn of Wednesday (28th). "Eu te amo! Obrigada!," she posted on her Twitter page. Minutes before, the singer explained the reason telling that one of her songs became a success in the country.
"Brazil! #1 for 27 weeks!!!! That's a new record for me! I can't even know what to say," she commented in English. The song "I Want to Know What Love Is", which is part of the music track of "Viver a Vida" soap opera, is the most played one in Brazil for the 27th consecutive week, according to the singer's official website.
Mariah's last visit to the country happened in October of 2009, during the fashion and music event Oi Fashion Rocks. The star sang during Calvin Klein's show. (MariahCarey.com)
