Mariah Carey attempts the trends, gets it very wrong
Oh Mariah, Mariah, Mariah! What is this? You've got to give her a gold star for at least trying to embrace some of this season's trends. But someone must tell old Mazza that digging out what you wore on stage in the early 90s just won't cut the mustard this time around.
Snapped here at MTV's TRL held in Times Square in New York yesterday, Mariah wore some jeans that appeared to have been shrunk in the wash, as they were both too short and wa-aa-y too tight. But that's not the half of it. She teamed the jeans in question with a red string vest, black PVC puffer jacket and some ridiculous red platform wedges. Not those gorgeous ones your imagining though, more along the lines of the ones you used to wear as a teenager to make you look taller and fool the bouncers at your local night club.
All I have left to ask is: was this Mariah's own doing or is there a stylist responsible? I pray it's the latter and they can now be seen down at the local job centre! (Osoblog)
