Who needs enemies?

In the August 4, 2007 issue of Billboard, "Lil L.O.V.E." maintains its position at #25 on Hot Rap Tracks chart. The airplay as of July 26, 2007 is 8.236 million audience impressions with 1,865 spins, according to Mediabase.

Some fans think "Lil L.O.V.E." is a big flop, because the fans have abandoned Mariah. As a result of this, they say her new album is also going to flop. But this is not Mariah's song, this is a Bone Thugs-N-Harmony song. Just because this single is a flop doesn't mean Mariah's album is going to flop.

Other fans say Mariah's new album is gonna be the same as The Emancipation of Mimi, because Mariah always "plays it safe". It could flop because the audience gets bored with her. Then, as always, they compare Mariah and Madonna, saying Madonna is the true artist who always re-invents herself.

One fan had the following to say about Madonna: "Say what you will about Madonna, but that is one artist who is constantly changing and taking risks. She could very well loose her fan base and yet she keeps growing and evolving. People like Janet Jackson and Madonna have talked about some pretty serious issues like abuse and addiction and death."

Who needs enemies when you have fans like Mariah does?
