The comeback trail might include a sitcom for Mariah Carey, who flew into New York Tuesday for a meeting with UPN heads. "She's very funny and has a lot of acting talent," one insider said. In an effort to explain Mariah's last acting stint, the bomb "Glitter", the insider said: "It was a simple project that was taken out of her hands and made into a disaster." Carey's new album with Island/Def Jam, which has tracks with Kanye West on it, should be ready later this year. A rep for Carey declined comment. (New York Post)
