Artgate puppets
Dutch artist Vie Nolmans lives together with rapper Tupac, pop singer Robby Williams and the singers of Destiny's Child. Day in day out they are sitting in her living room. But it's too bad these stars have little to say. And they don't make music at all. No wonder, because they are puppets. "These puppets aren't caricatures," Vie explains. "For that they look too much like the real stars, although I've put a lot of my creativity in these puppets."
Vie also made a Mariah Carey puppet. The singer is the only one with a pert bosom. "I had to," said Vie. "She always wears these open sweaters, so I had to show part of her décolleté."
