Auction gives bidders chance to get into stars' clothes
How would you like to own Mariah Carey's underwear? Now that we have your attention, we've come across an odd little tidbit of information for you collectors out there. Chicago-based uBid.com tells Inc. Carey's undergarments and one of Lucy Lawless' Xena outfits are among the items on the Web site's auction block beginning Friday, with proceeds benefiting "Knowledge is Power," which donates money to schools in the South Central area of Los Angeles.
And how did they get their hands on one of Mariah's bras and a pair of her boxers? "I don't know the background - who was in the room or any of that," Laurie Fried, who is helping promote the Internet auction, told Inc. "But I do know they're hers."
