"#1 to Infinity" tracking for 15,000 first week sales

Based on the first wave of weekly sales data, Mariah Carey's "#1 to Infinity" is expected to move 14-16,000 complete copies in its first week of release. Hits Daily Double reports the estimate. It adds that the inclusion of Track Equivalent Album (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Album (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) will result in a first week consumption total of 16-18,000 units.

In addition to a host of her number one hits, "#1 to Infinity" includes lead single "Infinity". Released in 2009, previous compilation album "The Ballads" moved 29,000 traditional copies in its first week of release. Unlike "#1 to Infinity", that album did not include new music.

The week's best-selling new release (and album overall) will be twenty one pilots' "Blurryface" (125-130,000 sales | 130-140,000 total units). Other notable new releases include Zedd's "True Colors" (30-35,000 sales | 35-40,000 units), Brandon Flowers' "The Desired Effect" (27-30,000 sales | 30-35,000 total units), Jamie Foxx's "Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses" (21-24,000 sales | 24-27,000 units), Faith No More's "Sol Invictus" (21-24,000 sales | 22-25,000 units), Gerardo Ortiz' "Hoy Mas Fuerte" (17-20,000 sales | 18-21,000 units), The Story So Far's "The Story So Far" (17-20,000 sales | 18-21,000 units), Kelsea Ballerini's "The First Time" (13-15,000 sales | 15-17,000 units) and Trey Songz' "Intermission I & II" (11-13,000 sales | 12-14,000 units).
