Nick, Mariah friends despite cheating rumors?
Nick Cannon is still doing quite well after his split from Mariah Carey. He was able to joke about his love life during a BBC Radio 1 interview. And while Carey is still struggling with the breakup, she is still putting that aside to spend the holidays with her estranged husband.
During the BBC Radio 1 segment, Nick Cannon was hooked up to a (fake) lie detector and asked about romance. It quickly turned hilarious when Cannon admitted hooking up with "the OG Kardashian", then joking that he slept with Kris and Bruce Jenner. Of course, this comment was actually in reference to his affair with Kim Kardashian, which the host shockingly didn't know about beforehand.
Nick Cannon was also honest about the other women in his life. He said that he and Mariah Carey "will be friends for life" and once again denied dating Amber Rose. This is not the first time Nick Cannon dismissed the Amber Rose rumors. While the two did go on an apparent date at Knott's Berry Farm, the host insisted there were others with them at the amusement park. In fact, Cannon claims he is not ready to start a new relationship just yet.
Amber Rose, for her part, has also slammed the Nick Cannon dating rumors. Instead, she is reportedly seeing Zack Kharbouch, the brother of French Montana. But while Nick Cannon may be single, he is still loving life as always. He continues to rack up new gigs, ensuring he will have plenty of money after his divorce from Mariah Carey. But Carey has not been taking the split nearly as well.
"Mariah's family and close friends are worried about her," a source said shortly after Carey and Nick Cannon's separation. "She's a loose cannon and feels humiliated. She's too caught up with what others think of her. And she does have a past of self-destructive behavior. She needs professional help and tons of support right now. Her friends are worried she will sabotage herself."
Indeed, in October Mariah Carey had a meltdown on-stage during a performance in Japan. And seeing Nick Cannon's continued financial success must make her feel even worse, especially since her tour is struggling to sell tickets. She is putting aside her feelings to spend the holidays with Cannon and their kids, but her anger and depression will probably prevent the stars from ever getting back together. (Hollywood Take)
