Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon in bitter battle
With a prenup in place, it first appeared the divorce of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon would be settled quickly. Now however, Mariah wants to take Nick to the doghouse. Reportedly, the singers are now in a bitter custody battle over their shared eight dogs. The couple, complete with their three-year-old twins and eight dogs, shared a massive New York home and several million dollar fortune.
Although the singers reached a settlement over both their joint fortunes and the custody of their children, they reportedly could not reach an agreement when it came to their canine friends. The once powerful duo, who married after just six weeks of dating in 2008, separated this past August. Since then, Mariah has been touring, while Nick has been keeping busy with various commitments, as well as recently being linked to Amber Rose. (Life & Style)
