Mariah Carey's Australian tour coming in November

Mariah Carey will tour Australia - in just a matter of weeks. Carey will bring her Elusive Chanteuse Show here in November in her first full national tour since 1998. The highest-selling female artist of all time will play Perth's Sandalford Estate on November 2, Adelaide Entertainment Centre on November 5, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on November 7 and Sydney's Qantas Credit Union Arena on November 10.

Fans will also get to see Carey do a handful of A Day on the Green winery shows - Rochford Wines in Yarra Valley in Victoria on November 8 and Sirromet Wines Mt Cotton in Queensland on November 16. Tickets for all shows go on sale September 26 at 9am. Presale details are available at www.livenation.co.au

Carey is expected to conduct no interviews for the tour, presumably wary about being asked about her recent marriage split from Nick Cannon. Her website states of the tour "I want to experience the spontaneity and emotion that I put into this album on stage with my fans. I can't stop writing songs so don't be surprised if you hear a brand new song that I just wrote the night before the show in your city!"

The 44-year-old will start her Elusive Chanteuse Show world tour in Japan on October 4. No further dates have been announced after the Australian leg. Her last visit to Australia was for three East Coast shows around New Year's Eve 2013.

That tour saw Carey accompanied by twins Monroe and Moroccan and Cannon, who acted as warm-up man for the show. The couple split earlier this year after marrying in 2008. While her latest album Me. I Am Mariah ... The Elusive Chanteuse has been a critical success, it has failed to match the sales of previous records.
